Position the transformer where the on/off
switch is easy to access and cable can be run into the garden.
Lay the 12 volt cable (low voltage) on the
ground or in a shallow trench. No conduit is necessary.
Most Total Eden lights come complete with a
bulb, lead and cable connector. Installation to a mainline is simple.
Use Gel or T-Connectors wherever possible to
join wires. They make installation easier, quicker and more reliable. If you use
open connections or twitch the wires together, wrap well with insulation tape to
avoid shorting or leakage of current to the ground.
When installing push together lights or
T-Connectors, have the power switched ON when making connections. If a
connection is made properly, the light will come on immediately. You can then
confidently complete the connection by installing the screw. The current is an
extremely safe 12 volts on your side of the transformer.
